Sieglinde Rosenberger is Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Vienna. She took up several fellowships at Universities and research institutions like San Diego State University/CA (1991/92), Harvard (2003/04), EUI (2007), and the Chinese University of Political Science and Law/Beijing (2014). Since 2018 she is a member of the Expert Council of German Foundations on Integration and Migration based in Berlin.
She serves as the deputy speaker of the interdisciplinary research center “Religion and Transformation in Contemporary Society”, University of Vienna. She is an Associate editor of the Journal “Comparative Migration Studies”. Her main research interests include migration and asylum policies, gender, political protest and contestation in the area of refugee and migration, political participation, governing diversity (including religion, gender, ethnicity).
